bert, what is a celt of the type you post about? It looks like it could be a fishing weight. It’s certainly not a person of the Celtic persuasion....
the photo would not post at adequate size. sometimes Free Republic squeezes them down
the celt is a hand ax blade. it fits in to a hole in a shaft such that the blow makes it fit tighter
