There are a bunch of prophecies in the Hadith that the giants Gog and Magog will trouble the Mahdi and the Muslims in the End Times, but they will eventually be killed when the whole world is Islamicized.

The Brits have a long tradition of claiming that Gog and Magog were "Champions of London" long ago. Many Islamicists apply those Gog/Magog prophecies to England.

Yet, they are not just looking for a military defeat... they are looking for the complete overthrow of Western Culture.

When you read the fatwas from Bin Ladin and the ulama of Saudi Arabia, it is not just our troops based in Saudi Arabia that cause them fits...

It's the fact that our Western ways... culture, capitalism, literature, education, religion, etc. is permeating through Islam and polluting it - causing Muslims to turn into idolators.

Furthermore, Islam sees itself as overbourne, overwhelmed, and overtaken by what they consider an inferior culture and religion. They are fighting against the whole of our culture and not just our military.

They will only rest when the Black Flag of Islam waves from the top of the capital and Sharia is the law of the land.

I thought you might be interested in this quote from Michael Ledeen's 7/1/03 editorial. It confirms what you have said.

Before 9/11, Benjamin Netanyahu said the same thing, but in different words.

I guess it is going to be a race between them finding the means... and us finding the will.

This is the typical ranting of the mooselimb. But why do we recognize this as anything but a revolting cult of death that must be destroyed by all means necessary?

This just makes me sick, it's just as bad as watching Hitler screaming about world domination and the rest of the world thinking he's bluffing.

What are we waiting for? An islamic army loaded with Pakistan/north korean nukes? I guess we are. I guess our cities just aren't worth a damn. It just disgusts me that we haven't destroyed this cult from top to bottom.
