[history]
July 2 (Bloomberg) -- North Atlantic Treaty Organization-led peacekeepers in Bosnia-Herzegovina discovered an illegal military training camp in the divided Balkan republic and seized a ``large quantity'' of equipment, Agence France-Presse reported.
The camp, located about 100 kilometers (60 miles) west of the capital, Sarajevo, is inside the Muslim-Croat Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia, AFP said. The other is the majority-Serb Republika Srpska.

"military" is misnomer. It seems that radical Muslim terrorists still enjoy powerful protection in the media.

I though it had to do with who was doing the worst of the bad things. I guess it depends on the administration, who did the worst thing, and which ethnic group is currently the bad guy.

Let's see "How many years did that take to discover that?" Will they give George W. at least equal time to find the WMD in Iraq?

I wonder where these people get all od this stuff? This stuff costs big money!!Anybody want to take a wild guess??
To: dirtboy
I'm reading Nelson DeMille's"The Lion's Game"and BJC was referred to as"Ball-Less"and from"East Chicken-Sh*t,Arkansas"!!I LIKE THAT!!!

I wish I could find or had linked the article, but a couple years ago or so, I had read an article that said that the war in the balkasn was not for ethnic cleansing, as we were all led to believe, but for removing certain elements of the populace for building this type of training camp. Man I wish I would have kept that...

Denies stuff like what?
It remains uncertain as to whether this camp belonged to a Muslim or a Croat group - NATO was in the area looking for Ante Gotovina, a Croat wanted by the ICTY, which is supportive of one view, though not conclusive.
Go ahead and ask DTA how he knows who the camp belongs to - you might find the experience instructive.

How do you know who this stuff belongs to? There are both Croats & Bosniacs in that area. Both have formed & trained their own militia groups in the past. And I know that there have been numerous caches of military supplies intended for those militias or for the Serbs found in Bosnia in the past. How do you know this stuff is for terrorists? Do you have some information not in the article?

Do you have some information not in the article?<<<<
This question should be sent to U.S. Ambassador to Bosnia who so far masterfully sheltered Bosnian Muslim ties to terrorists and Saddam from the public view.
Bosnian Muslims are innocent. Even when selling rocket fuel to Saddam to kill U.S. servicemen. Blame Serbs for that. There is U.S. Ambassador and Department of State to make sure everything will be hushed up( like Vitezit scandal)
But in the case of training camp found in Muslim-Croat Federation, it is not possible to blame Serbs, so it makes sense to blame Croats or leave doubts to whom camp belonged.
Who needed it in the first place?
Bosnian-Croat Federation Army is divided due to Muslim insistence on Muslim character of the units (e.g. Muslim clerics embedded into the units are parallel chain of command, like Politcommisars in Soviet Red Army).
During obligatory national service recruits are exposed to radical islamic influence. Just wait for new Rais-Ul-Ulema to be elected and it will hit the fan. Paleface Al Qaeda.
The only problem- there are still Bosnian Croat officers around to see what is going on.
Croat special ops forces can train in Croatia if they want to, Muslims can not.
Clandestine training camp, away from prying Croat eyes can come handy.
Stay tuned for more fruits of Clinton policy.

...U.S. Ambassador to Bosnia who so far masterfully sheltered Bosnian Muslim ties to terrorists and Saddam from the public view. Doubtful. The US government is doing all it can to expose terrorist ties to Saddam, not hide them.

No blame or even doubts, just not enough information at this time.

It is generally true, but not for Bosnia. Vitezit scandal shows it.
When it comes to Bosnia, DOD and DOS are not on the same page.
While DOD fights terrorism, Department of State still follows X42's policy. U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo covers Bosnian Muslim blunders to save their own hide. Many made careers on fictitious stories from Bosnia and covered facts exposing fiction.
Like unwanted pregnancy, problem grows and can not stay hidden forever.
