Legally Blonde 2(Directed by a Dean supporter)

I read the article about the new directors taking over sequels in June 29 issue of LA Times.
LEGALLY BLONDE 2 is directed by Charles Herman-Wurmfeld...He is described as a liberal activist...He is helping the candidate Howard Dean by making a bunch of documentaries about Dean.
I hope Terminator 3 does better in the box office than LEGALLY BLONDE 2...

I've got news for you. As a card-carrying local 80 grip, it's my humble opinion that all the "above the line crowd" is patently socialist. Hence this revelation is nothing more than grist for the mill.
The exceptions are few and far between. Better to bury your head in the sand than to expect anything "conservative" to come out of any creative outlet, be it art, music, stage, or screen. And what a boring world it would be if everyone thought alike. Trust me.

Yep. It's pretty lonely above the line.
I read somewhere that in one of the drafts of this script there was a scene written for Hillary, but Witherspoon nixed it as "too political". Encouraging.
I remember movies like "Devil's Advocate" where a Republican Senator (you know, the guy Schumer beat in NY.) did a cameo at a party thrown by Satan. He obviously didn't get that the joke was on him as being a close friend of the Devil. This happens a lot.

All movie directors, producers and writers are left-wing activists...with about three exceptions.
TV has a much bigger influence. And, besides TV news having become a jobs program for ex-Clinton hitmen, shows like "Everybody Loves Raymond" is produced and was co-created by Phil Rosenthal, a Clinton buddy and the creator of the very funny video movie starring Bill and Hillary for the Washington Press Corps dinner of a couple years ago.
It really wouldn't matter if every movie big shot supported Dean. They couldn't influence a scrambled egg. It's the subtler people I worry about.

Are there any websites that document the absolute bias that comes out of Hollywood movies? I swear, whenever anything political is involved, the GOP is always the bad guy. I remember watching "X-Men"...and the main opponent to the new mutant species was a bigoted Republican. It wasn't enough to accuse him of being a racist, they had to actually include in the special features section, a segment that included a congressional committee that resembled the Black Causcus. In this meeting, the causcus went after the GOP congressman for opposing the mutants in the same fashion that black civil rights were opposed. It was a joke.
From everything from "Enemy of the State" to something as purely entertaining as "Total Recall," Republicans are derided as evil. Even Legally Blonde 2 is suppose to take a swipe at Republicans for their lack of compassion for animals (or something like that). If NY Times Watch can make a killing on the web, something like Hollywood Watch should do great...and be very entertaining.

By all accounts, if Dean is the Democrat's nominee he will be trounced by Bush in a landslide. I for one don't mind contributing by way of seeing this mindless piece of entertainment.
