"some simply cannot grasp the concept that you can disagree with the President on various issues and still support him."

Rintense, could you support someone who made it possible for you to be unable to buy a loaf of bread unless you spoke Spanish?
That's already a fact in a few Texas border towns.
Would you support someone who would give tacit approval to the practice by medical care facilities of turning away fifth generation Americans who happened to be without insurance but allowing illegal immigrants free acess to hospital services?
It's happening.
Would you give approval to someone who would encourage illegals to come here and take your job because they can exist on less money than you require?
It's now a common practice.
Would you give approval to someone who would give amnesty to a million criminals who broke our laws and entered this country illegally? This is the plan.

This is more than a "disagreement" with GW's policies.
This is a rebellion against the raping of our heritage and our culture.

I agree with your post, and I think you left a lot out. I don't dislike the supporters of Bush, but while we sit here bickering about whether we ought to assume he always knows what he is doing, and seek to reconsile our differences, our nation is going down the toilet. Why should one third of all students in the LAUSD (who are the chidren of illegal aliens), get gifted with a $10,000 a year education, when our own citizens have to pay for parking just to attend junior college. BTW, all junior college fees will be going up again due to California's financial situation. Will illegals have to fork over one red cent for their $120,000 k-12 education? Will they have to fork over one cent for school breakfast and lunch programs? Will they fork over one cent for school nurse programs that immunize them and provide medical care on the spot?

Folks, either we are conservatives or we're not. Which is it?

That sounds more like a state issue to me. Granted, the borders are a huge problem, and I do not agree with Bush on his border policy. But, he hasn't given amnesty to anyone, and I don't think it will happen. As for medical facilities turning away anyone, by law, they can't.

I am truly sorry for what you are going through. There are similar things going on where I live, but certainly not as bad as where you live. What are you doing to fight the good fight? Have you let your governor know? Congressmen? President? I know sometimes it can seem futile to even try to fight, but if we don't fight for what we believe in, our country might as well fold up and die right now.

I went though a very nasty event five years ago on July 4th weekend that had to do with illegals to some degree. And the fact that many of my friends said I should move pissed me off. Why? Because *I* didn't do anything wrong. I stayed put and told everyone else to piss off. So fight the good fight. I hope things do get better.

OMG! I can't believe you blame the president for your complaints.

And before you harp about Texas and Spanish, I live in Arizona not far from the border myself.
