Why don't all of you out there in the other 49 States elect Senators like my two -- Senators Nickles and Inhofe -- the ONLY two that wouldn't vote to give taxpayer money to people who don't pay taxes!

When all of you elect Senators that think like my two then I will listen to people that don't like President Bush because if he had 51 Senators like Nickles and Inhofe, he wouldn't have to move to the center to get bills passed!

But then I don't see Leaving No Child Behind as being a socialist -- every child in this Country deserves a chance at a good education and if we had 51 Nickles and Inhofes, we would have vouchers.

Before people get mad at President Bush about what he is not doing to suit them, they had better ask themselves in they get out and work in their local Congressional/Senate races to elect more Conservative Republicans or do they sit home and whine they don't like the candidates.

Winning a Congressional race or a Senate takes a ton of money and lot of volunteer work. I know, I was part of a Congressional campaign here in OK for Tom Cole who replaced J.C. He was given additional RAT counties in the redistricting, but we won because we had a lot of volunteers including his 80-year old Mother that day after day would put labels on mailouts to go to people in our district. I brought mailouts home on weekends for my kids and I to label. In the end we sent out over 1 million pieces to our district. We won and another conservative went to Washington because of the number of people that volunteered and believed in Tom Cole!

The day you people that don't appreciate President Bush work day after day and night after night and weekends to elect a candidate, then come back and tell me what an easy job it is to get good conservaties elected. It is anything but because you are up against people that will lie, cheat, and steal to get elected backed by most of the press! Fortunately here in OK, we have The Oklahoman which is conservative and backs conservative candidates but our other papers are not!

The last thing I have to say is to all of you whiners that TLB pinged to this thread all with the same mantra about President Bush -- If you don't vote, then don't whine! If you don't get out and volunteer, then don't complain about the candidates or who is elected.

If you don't get out and volunteer, then don't complain about the candidates or who is elected.

The one characteristic of fringes is they tend to look for a White Knight to save them. As you so ably point out they sit on their rumps while complaining that no candidate is doing right.

They do not recognize that politics is a never ending job of persuasion and compromise. What the fringes of the left and right long for is a benevolent dictator to come on the scene and overrule the ignorant majority that decides elections. Their dictator would rule by fiat put the good and the right in place...as they see the good and the right.

That is the appeal.. they want a strong leader to set things right. That is a definition of a ruler. Hitler ruled, Stalin ruled, Mao ruled, and Castro rules. Do you think Hitler woke up one day and said,"My goal in life is to be an evil dictator. My goal is to kill 50 million people and go down in history as a terrible mass murderer?" Of course not. Hitler saw the world from the position of the left fringe. He was the leader of the German Workers National Socialist party. The acronym for Hitler's party is NAZI. Hitler was as socialist as Stalin.

His motivation was to rid Germany of those he felt were bad, and conquer the world for those he felt were good. He was elected in 1933 because the German people thought he was a strong dictator who would take charge and fix the depression.

Fringes are always frustrated with the two steps forward and one step back with lots of side steps comon to democratic poltical movements. Fringers can't tolerate a leader who bends to the will of the majority. They see all elected leaders in a Republic as failed dictators who do not have the ability to dictate. They see the inability to order things done, and the necessity to bend to the will of the people as a weakness of their brand of leadership.

Fringers will deny it, but they crave a dictator. Yes, they crave a benevolent dictator but a dictator never the less. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That is true and all dictators eventually become corrupt. Mostly they do it sooner rather than later.

The slow arduous and difficult task of getting things done in a representative republic is abhorrent to the fringers. Fringers have no patience. They want a dictator to dictate and dictate now.

They haven't a clue about what would happen if they were successful. They would be among the first people killed by a successful dictator. For the first time the dictator dictates something they don't like, they trash the dictator. The dictator has them killed to protect his authority.

The best thing that can happen to a fringe group, is to never be successful. For fringe members Success, and Death are synonyms.

**elect more Conservative Republicans**

Well I voted for Santorum and that's with Pittsburgh (union city) in his district. Since Bush came out and stated that he believes marriage is a man and a woman, the hairs on the back of my neck have calmed down considerably.

After all he did say he was pro-family on the campaign trail so I was dumbfounded when he didn't come out more strongly in support of Santorum. Now the statements about the bogus "right to privacy" that Santorum made are being proven true.

At this point in time I'll be voting for Bush. I don't like everything that is going on in Israel but I'm giving it some time to see what exactly transpires in the long run. Especially with Hamas. It needs to be wiped off the face of the earth and I hope all are taking note that an Al Qaeda member led an attack under Hamas orders. Anyone who doesn't believe that all these terrorists aren't linked and cooperating with one another is wacked in the head.

One more thing. I'm just confounded why the RNC is backing Spector instead of Toomey??? Spector certainly has shown no need to work with the POTUS or the more conservative Senators. He's a nut ball wacko liberal with an "R" that causes nothing but trouble.
