So he didn't roll them back. He made them 10 ppm instead of 50 ppm. Thanks The EPA site is right.

The actual Rush quote is even more damning.Did you catch his petulance? Nah. He was basically saying, "The Dems claim we've won the WOT, so let them have the reins. See how they like it when we sit on the sideline carping at their every move." It was a slam at liberals.
To: habs4ever
I didn't hear it, because I rarely listen to him anymore. He is not the big expert on strategy that he thinks he is, and his bitterness that he isn't the Big Cheese is painfully obvious. All in all, I listen to him only when I am in the car running errands, and usually I hear about 5 minutes and then turn him off.
Like many of the liberals, I think Rush has failed to see how 9/11 changed this country. He also refuses to come to grips with how President Bush operates, and the President is not going to change.
Rush wants confrontation and belligerence, a la Newt Gingrich. That is not what is needed in these times. We are in a crisis, and the public wants everyone to pull together, not the constant fighting of the 90's.
Rush has chosen unwisely.

Maybe the federal register is right too and he didn't block rules that would require federal agencies to offer bilingual assistance to non-English speaking persons either.

Odd Todd, sewer king of the mole men.

But you're right, the list needs to be corrected.

Last I heard, TLB has decided to vote for the President next year because (as he puts it) "a vote for Bush is a vote for socialism."
As far as I'm concerned, if TLB's voting for the President, he can't be all bad. ;-)

I wish this cartoon would be brought back. It would certainly draw the ire of the Bush-bashers.

Some people can lead and others can only be in opposition.... That is where Rush and Newt where/are...

And why is his listenership dropping? Negative, whiny, Bush-bashing programs! I can name at least 10 former listeners on FR that absolutely won't listen any more.
If he wants his audience back, he needs to get a more positive attitude, and quit getting ideas from the fringe element.
To: DanlBoone
Egads...that is NOT my wish list. Those are actual statements from other posters on FR.

Correct. Newt was good in oppositin when it was needed. But he couldn't draw the House together...it remained split because of his history.
Rush is smart enough to learn a new approach. It remains to be seen whether he wishes to do so, or if he wants to continue on his course.
