not to leech from this thread.

Vox has some good points (some odd points too) Fine leave the privacy issue but leave the istitution of marriage alone.

No kidding. All one has to do is take a look at *ANY* of the pictures from the recent gay pride parades to understand the decline of our country.

Even my 14 year old daughter immediately and instinctively said "those people are sick" when seeing the pics posted here in FR.

I disagree with Vox Day's analysis. The power centers, government at the federal level and most of the major media, are now firmly in the hands of "enlightened" elites. Therefore there will be no draconian reaction to deviant excess no matter how revolting it becomes. Of course, at the level of ordinary people there will be sporadic instances of backlash; which will be punished severely when they occur.

Most likely, the religious will continue to secede from the dominant culture. The balkanization of America will speed up. Finally, there will be small safe zones, guarded privately, surrounded by a generalized barbarity.

Unfortunately, by insisting on the fabrication of a constitutional right to engage in same-sex relations, homosexuals have now opened the door to a Pandora's box that will wreak havoc on sexual and familial relationships across America, and contribute to the acceleration of America's decline into decadence and ultimate bondage.

So exactly how will this destruction of America happen? Homos have been having illicit sex since this country was conceived. How does legalizing it hurt everyone else? I have no temptation or desire to partake of homosexual sex, even if our government makes it tax-deductible. Yes, these pro-gay rulings will legitimize homosexual relationships. But I don't see this doing any more harm than trying to pigeonhole homos into heterosexual lifestyles. How many lives have been wrecked because homos, exasperated of trying to be heterosexual, end up molesting their kids? If a civil union law is passed and the homos end up just congregating with each other, oh well. BEtter that than forcefully integrating them with heteros.

BTW, I'm not trying to be argumentative...but I'd like better discussion of exactly how this decline will be accelerated due to these recent SCOTUS decisions.
