I am not educated in the ways of war or war tactics/strategy, so thank you for enlightening me... I have often wondered how we could have a successful revolt, since the gov't has a seemingly endless supply of resources...

I guess it comes down to who wants it worse... if the gov't wants to maintain power badly enough, could we put it past them to NOT use WMD? They could twist it around through the press, making them appear to be faultless...

...but I do see from your posts that it CAN be done, and it gives me a small glimmer of hope... one thing's for sure, government has become a monster, and I fear it is very close to the point of no return... we try to change things through traditional channels, and it's not working...something's got to give!

I responded to your thought that it was too difficult or dangerous to take on the govt, in a military fashion. I didn't advocate violence, or the overthrow of the govt, just outlined some possibilities and current news that would give food for thought and discussion.

That post, #177 was removed by one of the moderators, for reasons not explained.

In light of that, I would only ask this: If the possibility, the tactics, and methods of armed revolt is something not to be discussed among us, then why do we have the 2nd amendment?(or the 1st for that matter) I would much rather discuss such things in an open forum where it's somewhat possible that such ideas could get back to the govt and be heeded as a warning, than to wait and cower quietly until it is no longer possible to stop an open and bloody revolt.

But, I guess that some of the 'conservatives' around here are just gutless cowards..
