What Are Our Options When the Constitution No Longer Protects Us?

The Constitution never protected us. It was people who defended and upheld the Constitution who protected us. The Founders had a name for those who did not defend and uphold the Constitution: enemies, foreign or domestic. They had a remedy for those who ignore the Constitution: anything from voting the malefactors out of office up to armed revolution. Those in the government have got to realize that they are the servants of the people and that the government of the United States is the means by which they serve the people. The "government of the United States" is not just another way of saying "the American nation."

I think they have long since forgotten that. The people only exist to make their hold on power secure... oh yeah, and to finance all their ignoble designs.
