Anybody seen "Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle?"

Anybody seen "Charlie's Angels - Full Throttle?"

I wasted the full price of admission yesterday on this over-hyped crapola. Sony Pictures just blew millions on making the film. The final cut was not ready for even a preview release in my humble opinion. I censor my personal disgust with the movie. Only Demi Moore put in a star quality effort in my personal opinion. She stole the movie and looks better than ever. Looks like the producers may try a sequel with Demi returning again next year.

As a side note: In the past four or five years I have noticed that actors may try to get their own perceptions of a film past the director. They do this "major thing" with their hands as personal commentary if they do not like the film. The thing: Cleverly making a "Bird Finger" for a few seconds if the film is perceived as a @crewjob on the public. This film set a record for the number of close up shots where the stars publically stated their personal ratings of the film. Two or three of the stars very cleverly drew attention to their own ratings by moving their hands rapidly just before they -- paused -- "Birdie Up" for all to see -- and on with the show.

Just my personal opinion folks. This film is a genuine four Birdie effort and do not go unless you are looking for the disguised bird shots. I was laughing actually out loud about it during the film.

I want my money back. This thing was a DOG. It was filmed in that annoying stop/go style ala The Matrix, and the sound was turned up loud enough to break glass. Also, is anyone *ELSE* tired of the Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon martial arts BS?

Although I think Demi Moore is hot, she's 40, had a few kids, and the bikini thing doesn't work. You could, if you looked closely, see stretch marks and loose skin on her belly. Ugh. Looks like she might have had the custom rack uninstalled too, nothing great up top.

Cameron Diaz is as thin as a refugee and a bikini on her at least gives one the diversion of counting her ribs. Drew Barrymore's mileage is starting to show. She has a "rode hard and put up wet" look.

Eight bucks a ticket. I usually rate a movie by the number of times I look at my watch. In this one, the Indiglo light on my watch never turned off. The only place where time moves slower than in this movie is when you're in the dentist's chair.

Not all that sexy, IMHO, and there were more cheap cameos than you'll ever see on QVC.

I was looking at my watch many times as well. I beg to differ on Demi Moore. She looked especially great for a 40 year old chick. I am 58 years old now and, sadly, all of us age. Demi looked really great, was in top fighting shape, and her top looked very nice too.

Sorry, but I actively boycott movies where there are overt lefties involved... And since both of the Charlie's Angels movies involve Cameron Diaz (enviro-nut) and the fat girl that was on ET the movie (gun-control advocate, hard-core leftist), I am not about to pony up any money to see them...

I have no idea of what Lucy Liu's views are- but two out of three pretty much eliminates them from the "will bother to watch" category...

Sorry you were disappointed.

Be well...

Demi is still hot, as I said. The striations on her belly would probably not be a "deal buster" were I to be given the chance to...never mind. Actually, though, for meat on one's bones cute, though, Pink (who did a cameo in the movie) is hard to beat.

Filming was terrible. I saw a review on this monstrosity and they said they had to refilm so much of it to even make it into the piece of crap that it was.

OK, I'll concede the point that Demi stroking the gun barrel on that gold plated semi-auto WAS enough to make me (almost) forget the rest of the movie.

Odd how dated even for the 50's, costumes are supposed to be 2003 sexy. At least based on the commercials and the CNN puff piece.

This screams yawner. Pushy high maintenance broads are unattractive and repelling.

I was subjected to the previews when I went to another movie with my family (Bruce Almighty).

I wouldn't see it on a bet.

What about her concrete hooters? Those things scare me. They don't jiggle even when she jumps up and down.

A resounding YES from the warrior princess who does her own stunts!

I am surprised you were expecting a good movie. The whole concept says 'dumb movie' to me.

What did that say? - I would love to know what the heck you are talking about!

IIRC, she's a lefty. A lefty with concrete hoots. Yee.

I mean, Lucy Liu is a lefty. Demi (which I will always pronounce correctly, no matter how many times she insists on "De-MEE") is a lefty with concrete hoots.

As far as I know, Lucy's rack is her own.

The first Charlie's Angels was horrible, I don't plan to even rent this one! Lucy Lui is very much a liberal. All 3 showed up wearing t-shirts with insulting anti-Bush statements at some event connected with the first movie. Demi Moore is re-packaging herself, quite an exploited "comeback". She even slept with Clinton, or so they say! She does look very attractive...I wonder if she really spent $400K on a makeover, hard to imagine how that's even possible.

This is too funny, I would like to see more movie reviews on this site! No, I didn't see FT, nor have I seen any of the other big must see movies. Come to think of it, I haven't been really excited about any movie for a while.

But wait a minute, T3 is coming out this week! Come on now, it's our man Arnold. I want to see him kick arse!
