I tritto that. This administration's PR in regards to the situation in Iraq absolutely is pathetic and has been from the gitgo.

And it's time President Bush starts issuing some statements, also, to quell some of the negativism, rumors, falling civilian morale and false info taking hold in this country.

Things are not as bad in Iraq as the press and the liberals are making it appear, but there's little to no leadership to counteract this. We need more than a couple of Republican or conservative pundits on the talking-head shows to get a positive message out on progress in Iran.

At least 22 Americans have been killed by hostile fire since President Bush declared major combat over on May 1.

1070 Americans were murdered in LOS ANGELES COUNTY in 2001.

When will the Democrats get us out of that quagmire?

Someone should point out the fact that statistically, and American soldier is safer in Iraq than he would be in Democrat occupied Los Angeles county - even during the war, casualties were lower in Iraq than in the Peoples' Republic of California - and even in JUST LA COUNTY.

So far, we are losing about 11 Americans per month to hostile action, accidents, etc. in Iraq. That would be an annual rate of some 121. Los Angeles County is 8 times as dangerous.

Well, to be fair to the administration, I don't know what they actually put out into the media. Let's face it, the American media (and even moreso the international media) will write what they want. You can get around that with live press conferences, but even then, most of the questions will be about US soldiers.

It is understandable and admirable that the armed forces are primarily concerned with their own. But the US media will always report US casualties, the Iraqis need to be mentioned. Names would be helpful.
