Adding prayers for you and your family. I still miss my dad and he's been gone 4 years this August.
Knowing I will see him again in Heaven gives me peace. I hope it does the same for you.
May God keep you close and give you comfort at this difficult time.

Your dad sounds like an amazing guy--I hope you will draw inspiration from his life and values during this time of sadness.
My late father was a machinist, as was I many years ago when I was working my way through college. My dad could take a block of steel and sculpt a complex part from it--bet your dad could, too.
You have been given his name and legacy--a richer man than you can not be found. God bless you and yours.

I am sorry for your loss. I'll be saying a prayer for you and your family tonight. We owe much to the members of the 101st...this former soldier will never forget them. They are still defending us as I write.

Thanks so much for telling us about your dear dad. What an interesting life he had--he must have had many stories to tell. He sounds like he was a great American and a great dad. I'm glad you shared a little bit of his life and your memories of him with us. I'm so sorry that he was in pain in the end. God bless you and your family.

A prayer of praise that such men have existed in our lifetimes - and a word of love to you...
Whenever you wish to see your Father again, look in the mirror. He is there, looking back at you through your own eyes. All his joys, all his loves, all his mistakes and triumphs are revealed in the face in the mirror - for you are your Father's earthly gift of himself to the world.

I'm so sorry about the loss of your Dad, a great man. My our Lord wrap His arms around your whole family and comfort you now.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your father, who sounds like he was a wonderful man.
You wrote a very moving tribute to him, and I will remember him in my prayers at Church today.
Take comfort in knowing he's at peace now, and he'll always be with you in your heart till you see him again.
