I wonder if we 'cleaned house' of ALL government laws, statutes, including the U.S. Constitution of anything based on Judeo-Christian morals and values, what rights would we the people have left?

Besides, it's not "culture" unless it's public and common to the majority of the population.

In general, the goon squads used to enforce the common morals of Western civilization, not specifically Christian morals. Some communities had laws that were specifically based on Christianity, true, but most laws enforced by the goon squads were based upon common-law restrictions on behaviors that were considered evil by people in all Western cultures -- you know, things like murder, rape, sodomy, and so forth.

But you're right -- we as a society won't enforce those laws anymore. The New Order has come swept away those tired old relics of a less-enlightened age! Behold, all things are made new!

But the goon squads remain. The question is: whose morals will they enforce now?

No, the government has now become a goon squad with a different agenda.

The federalization of homosexuality by this decision, with the promise of more and unknown federalizations in the future, is a huge federal power grab from the people and the states.

California has a consenting adult law with which I agree in principle, yet I supported the prerogative of the citizens of other states not to have such a law. Their freedom to do so was part of the autonomy of the states and the people, as protected by the 10th Amendment. That Amendment is eroded by this decision, to the detriment of all of us.

They're not even Christian morals. They are fundamentalist Christian morals, coming from people who believe that Jesus Christ himeself literally wrote the Bible and that the Bible is to be taken only literally, and that the story of Lott had only to do with anal sex.

"You can have all the dissolute, sexualized and homosexualized and depraved culture you want in your own homes and 'churches'. But the government is not your private goon squad for the enforcement of Secular amoral bevahior and undermining of traditional virtues."

Would you accept that or call that "intolerant"?

The agenda of amoralists is not "tolerance", it is the replacement of one set of moral values for another, "politically correct" set of value.
I fail to see how rearranging our prejudices advances society.
