By not testifying during the trial she avoided having to confess the fact that she had sex with some guy while the man was dying in her garage.

There's something so evil about what she did, but have in our society a large segment of the population with a total disregard for life.

I am glad I didn't ever watch any of the proceedings or see the pictures, it is too heartbreaking.

"It does not meet the legal definition of murder."

So what is the legal definition of murder?

I have seen no mercy shown to a dying, helpless man.

And she wasn't so impaired that she wasn't able to think to call for help for HERSELF!

I didn't see the entire sentencing hearing, but what I did see -- the only remourse she showed, imo, was that she made decisions that messed up her life, not that she made decisions that left a man to die. The "my actions made me the victim here" stuff just didn't cut it for me.

So what is the legal definition of murder?

Be sure to ask him specifically about Texas law. We have at least 50 different definitions and gradations of murder in the U.S.

Hitting the person with her car: was that intentional?

I think we all agree that it was an accident and not her fault that she hit the guy.

If not, it was vehicular manslaughter. I think she should have been tried for that, and then tried for the acts that followed, separately.

What purpose would that have served? Nobody would gain from that except the lawyers and the court stenographer. The great state of Texas would have been spending a lot of extra dollars for a second trial to proove what? That she did infact let the man die.

Did you see the fat pig waddling down the hall yesterday on a news blurb? (forgot which).
He sickens me to look at him, and to think of how he got by with murder!!!!!
It makes the people who continue to vote him in look way stupid.

What would be the second charge then? She did more than just fail to render aid. She took a bleeding man to a place where no one could find him. Then she let him die in pain for however long it took.

Mr. Biggs wanted the same thing also

Then throw her in the garage and wait it out.

If she hadn't killed a man in such a very depraved fashion, it'd be funny.
