This is wonderful news. The further the rats move to the left, the lesser their chances are for winning anything. It's just a damn shame that Sharpton is not in the running.

Rob Reiner (aka Meathead) shilled for Dean on Charlie Rose last week, touting a Dean/Clarke ticket on the theory that Clarke can compensate for Dean's rabid hatred of all things military. If Reiner is a bellweather for the mood of Hollywood -- a not unlikely assumption given his respected position in that community -- it bodes well for Bush, because it means Hollywood will be wasting its campaign dollars on a thoroughly unelectable candidate.
