Aids when transmitted that way, happens between consenting adults.
Do you also think that we should ban smoking and drinking because it affects health? How about fatty foods? Should the government mandate that it's SUBJECTS eat nothing but fruits and veggies? Should it mandate exercise for all it's SUBJECTS?
Lack of sleep also affects public health, much more so than HIV does. Sleepy drivers often fall asleep at the wheel and kill innocent people. Should we have a police officer in ever SUBJECT'S bedroom making sure he or she gets a full 8 hrs of restfull sleep before driving? Where does it end?
I prefer to live in a free society, where I am a CITIZEN, rather than a SUBJECT. If you want to be a SUBJECT, then feel free to move to Red China or North Korea.

IMHO your pathetic logic is as flawed as any logic can get. Sorry, but that is truth.

Should it mandate exercise for all it's SUBJECTS? Should states be prevented by the supreme court to enact laws - forbidding incest between consenting adults ?
- forbidding bestiality (you can kill and consume animals) ?
- forbidding child pornography (if states lower the age of consent to puberty) ?
- setting the age of consent to any age they choose ?
The supreme court is arrogant and a threat to our Republic. That is what happens when the wrong people are elevated to high office. There are always consequences.

Your logic is flawed in a particularly significant respect. Not all behavior -- even behavior between "consenting adults" -- is, or should be accepted by civil society. It's more a matter of where to draw the line.
Some folks want to draw it at sodomy; most draw it at incest.
As you do, I love liberty and with liberty comes freedom from government intrusion -- an expectation of privacy. We may, however, restrict that expectation of privacy through our republican government and within the constraints of the Constitution.
