It is not the court's job to catch up with public opinion. That is the job of the legislature. If public opinion in Texas support this, the law would not have existed. This is unbelievably flawed reasoning. Sadly, 6 members of the Supremes agreed.

The only thing the sodomy gang and conservatives agree on is that this ruling is a huge and far-reaching win for them.

I highly doubt this is "public opinion" across most of the country! In fact, I am positive it is not! What lies.
