What part of ...are reserved to the states respectively... do you NOT understand? What part of "to the people" do you not understand? Are you saying the states have the right to make laws regulating anything? Perhaps a law on hair color? Or on how many kids you may have?
If there's no limit on state power we live in a tyranny, albeit a little closer than D.C.
