Has the exact spot where she hit him ever been revealed?
To: MeeknMing
Didn't Mallard later laugh to friends while joking about what she had done to the "white man"?

FoxNews, especially Shep, has been covering this fairly well. Gretta, so so {seems it interferes with her obsession with the Scott Peterson case). Scarborough covered it some on MSNBC, and the guy subbing on Hardball gave it somewhat lengthy coverage last evening.

Yikes--tuned into Court TV just now to get an update. ME who performed the autopsy is testifying. I thought I was looking at Dick Van Dyke! Of course, the man doesn't sound like DVD.
As a healthcare provider--Mallard makes me feel physically ill (and seething with anger) to think that she turned her back on this dying man while she plotted her cover-up.

Medical examiner testifying now.
[Prosecutor questioning medical examiner]
15" above left heal, leg almost completely amputated.
Strands of tissue, muscle and skin, on back portion was all that was holding the leg.
Left leg was "load bearing" leg at time of impact. (Weight on that leg.)
Injury to right leg, less severe, indicating weight on left leg.
Cause of death: Specific cause - excessive loss of blood. Source: torso, extremeties not significant; WAS near total amputation of left leg.
Lividity (sp?): Interior - laid facedown for some time. Some shifting when found on back [at park] but not sigificant.
Rigor mortis: muscle stiffening. 8-10 hours to complete.
Opinion based on injury: How long could [Gibbs] survive without medical attention? Probably a couple of hours; could be more.
Thinks Gibbs could have survived with reasonable medical attention.
Would medically oriented person know how to stop the bleeding? Yes.
[Pros. gave documents to M.E. --probably Mallard's backgound/education]
Does this person have adequate medical knowledge? Yes
[This is not word for word, and not anywhere near exact transcribing--I am just catching bits and pieces as I type/listen.]
Talking more in depth about Mallard's training.
Would not expect her [medically oriented person] to fix the wound(s), but would expect her to seek additional medical help--as quickly as possible.
Continuing to drive the car [with victim still impaled] aggravated condition due to body shifting; could have made condition worse. Key point is "not getting attention" for injuries--whether extracted at scene or driven to garage and left there (paraphrased).

"There's not a member of the Fort Worth Fire Department that could not have saved [Gregory] Biggs' life with basic life support,"
I hope this woman rots in jail for the rest of her life, but this statement is absurd.
He can make an educated guess, but he doesnt know for a fact that medical attention would definitely have saved his life.

Found it
here:
When Biggs' body was found in the park, authorities had no leads until four months later, when a tipster said Mallard talked about the incident at a party.
The woman said they were discussing who would be the designated driver, because some in the group had been drinking, and that Mallard said she couldn't use her car, police said. The woman recalled that Mallard giggled when she said "I hit this white man," according to the police report.
The woman said Mallard told her she "was messed up" on ecstasy pills and drunk. Mallard and her boyfriend later went into the garage to see if the man was dead, but he was alive and even asked for help, the woman told police.

I've got a lot of stuff to do today, so I'll miss most of today's testimony on Court TV.
I'll check the DMN later tonight and post the new thread for today's trial coverage either tonight or in the morning.
Gonna be a long day I think.
See ya'll later!
