Me too. They usually have one at the start of the Rose Parade, too (the only parade I watch). So I never miss the start.

God forbid anyone should explain to JJ that he would half to start in the BUSCH league to PROVE YOURSELF. That's just one more rule designed by the white man to hold the black man down!

After NASCAR, the next target will probably be Formula 1 Bernie Eccelstone and Max Mosley would put up with Jackson's antics for all of about 5 seconds before completely ignoring him.

I wonder what Jackson thinks of the NBA or NFL? Fewer and fewer whites every season.

Hey Jesse ... Could it be that they're just not interested in participating in NASCAR? And what about all the other racing leagues? Gonna pick on them or just the one from the good ol' South?

True. If we're going to make pro sports mirror the racial percentages (you know, we
need quotas, for equality...) we find in society, then there should only be 18% blacks in the NBA.
I want the Supreme Court to make this ruling, like they did for colleges. ( /sarcasm off )

In fairness a black NASCAR team has little chance of being competitive now days. An 85 4 four Caprice needing paint job with at least 2 space saver spares on the ground, just isn't going to hit the speeds or have the endurance. Tiger Earnhart will have to find an established team.

More to the point way should they stop when they are so effective. Everybody JJ shakes down pays up. NASCAR, Honda, Toyota, Budwieser the list is never ending. Racist has become the most powerful world in the American lexicon. It can stop all debate, opens up wallets, stops meaningful reform and sends whites scurrying for cover begging for forgiveness as they go..

Don't bet on it. Who would have thought NASCAR would have caved?

Don't bet on it. Who would have thought NASCAR would have caved? Point taken, but recall that the FIA had no hesitation in telling Belgium to take a flying leap over their tobacco advertising restrictions, and SPA was widely accepted as THE F1 track. There is no corner in racing like the Au Rouge.

NASCAR is doomed. They can't see past the dollar sign in their eyes. They are leaving their fan base in search of new fans with more money. For example, take the moving of the Southern 500 from Darlington to California. Sure NASCAR can sell more tickets in California in the short run. But how long before the new Fontana Speedway goes the way of the Riverside and Ontario speedways? Southern California has had two world class racing facilities with Winston cup races in the past. Both of them have been closed and bulldozed. California fans are fickle. As soon as the new wears off, the fans won't be back. When the Fontana speedway is bulldozed for new housing and NA$CAR comes crawling back to it fan base, will the fans forgive and forget? As for jesse hihackson, he must have forgoten about Wendell Scott, a black man who raced in NASCAR's top series for two decades and won a cup race in 1963. NASCAR's "color barrer" was broken 50 years ago. It's not racism keeping the blacks out. It's attitudes like hijackson's, breeding hatred for whites among blacks.

Nonsense, Dude.
Got my Somali Posse out rounding up the equipment we need to become competitive, right now. We'll sell off the stereos, airbags, bumpers, and mag wheels; and keep the engines and transmissions.
Rev. Jackson is going to give us the extra seed money we need for logos, uniforms, press kits, etc. Sponsorship will not be a problem with Jackson backing us up.
To: Kenny Bunk
NASCAR should tell Jackson to put his money where his mouth is. They should tell him to buy a car and start a competitive team.

And I wonder when these people are going to stop letting J.Jackson do their thinking and their talking for them? If this young lady would crack open a history book; she might find out that there were blacks that fought on the Confederate side! That is, she will if she has an open mind.
She might find to her surprise, that some of her own ancestors possibly fought under "that Confederate flag"! And not only that, there were white people who helped many blacks to get out of slavery! Sheesh, these people need to learn their history better, instead of listening to the one of the biggest racists of our time!

When CNSNews.com asked NASCAR's Pyne about the company's involvement with Jackson, he refused to respond. "I don't have anything to say," Pyne told CNSNews.com.
Omertà.

Exactly. Stock racing isn't a part of black culture, but still whites must make concessions and give blacks 14% of the sport. Of course, blacks need not make any similar concessions to whites in any of their organizations, and are fully validated when they whine about whites "stealing" their music, their ideas, or their inventions.
