ONDON (Reuters) - The Daily Mirror says U.S. troops have arrested Iraq's information minister under Saddam Hussein, Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf, at a roadblocks in a Baghdad suburb.
There was no immediate reaction from Washington on Wednesday.
The ex-minister, dubbed "Comical Ali" for proclaiming the defeat of U.S. forces even as they moved into Baghdad, had been hiding out at a relative's house watching satellite TV, but was caught on Monday night, the paper said in a report from Baghdad.
"He has some serious talking to do...this time," a "senior coalition source" was quoted as saying. There was no independent confirmation of the story and no other sourcing.

No, no, no! It cannot be!
Will they at least let him do a show on primetime? That would be so much funnier than any of these other stupid sitcoms!

How can you capture me, when I am surrendering you.
To: areafiftyone
This story is a lie. The Americans could not have captured him in Iraq. After all, there are no Americans within 1,000 miles of Iraq.

I'll never forget reading (in a Lebanese paper) that so many Arabs (outside of Iraq) believed every word he said, and were soooo disappointed when they found out he had been lying to them this whole time.
Just another example of Arab dis-unity, they said.
