How many times a day do you hit google.com? And what do you do once you get there? Type in a couple of keywords and hit the search button, right? Well, if that's the extent of your interaction with Google, you're missing out on some useful tools and cool features.

Sorry to hear of your business woes.

Nevertheless, it seems like Google returns the page containing the information I'm looking for at the top of its results list 99% of the time, and it's almost never deeper than 2nd or 3rd. Granted, I think the quality of search terms has a lot to do with it.

Now, if you're selling ink jet cartridge refill kits, you're probably SOL.

Froogle.com should be useful to consumers, but I have yet to see how.

Oh, well. Sooner or later, Google will be bought out and soon afterward morph into just another load of cr*p. Perhaps the only reason it hasn't yet happened is the lack of a non-compete clause acceptable to both sides.

While some of this may be true, I typed in the first exercise on name and zip and got nothing like the story. What is interesting is if someone is in another cournty and you look them up, google will translate the page into english.

LOL, w, thinking about you the other day when BBQing a brisket over mesquite. Going to have some in a bit, BTW.

Miss ol' WhatNot, but guess he was getting bashed pretty hard and wondered, "Why take this!??"

The feature of putting listed phone numbers into google and getting the maps to the location is very useful for quick driving directions.

I installed it and it shows up on the tool bar but it doesn't do ANYTHING!...it just sits there.

Can't find any way of activating it.

Is this some kind of 'April Fool' thing?

If you can't see the blank, white box on the taskbar, or have some other issue, check the FAQ (e.g. "I use Windows XP. When I open DQSD I only see the word 'Search' on my taskbar. Why?").

Did you read "What is it?" at http://www.dqsd.net/?

If you see its blank, white box in the taskbar, you can get help. Click in the box, type '?' (no quotes) and press Enter.

No April Fool's joke, it's one of the most useful tools I've ever seen, and it's free.
