No --- I will defend his right to ask the government to limit my choices in life. I have to because I retain the right to ask my government for limits on his choices. It is part of 'petition the government for a redress of grievances'.

I will also oppose any government effort to give him what he asks for. But I cannot oppose his right to ask. He has an absolute right to write the F.C.C. I have a right to oppose FCC action but not a right to forbid him from writing.

but in this case I'd be perfectly willing to go all the way and say we should completely deregulate and de-censor television and allow the most perverted junk imaginable during all hours of the day. Then people might actually stop allowing their kids to watch the d___d thing, and then things might actually start to improve in this country.

Might work. Then again, how many parents actually regulate what their kids view on the Internet?

Heck no, I appreciate that, even if I don't believe it

Go to my link about it on this thread, it can't be far from there. That will save you lots of time.

Yes I wonder if Webber allows his kids to watch Sparticus or did all the homo scenes fly right over him.

"I knew your were pro-INFANTICIDE. And probably most everyone else who don't think their should be a moral std for TV. "

Are you trying to say that all of us who don't agree with you are probably pro-abortion? That's a big leap. I'm pro-parental control. Parents control what their kids watch. My kids are only allowed to watch kid oriented shows/channels. There are plenty of them. Disney is great and does their best not to offend anyone with their shows. There is also The Family Channel with family shows, PAX TV which tries to serve christian audiences and quite a few other kid friendly networks. When the kids are in bed, I get to watch the adult shows that I like. My son gets a TV in his room but with parental controls so he only sees the kid channels and has no access to anything else. It works for us and we all get to watch what entertains us without asking anyone else to change what they do so I don't have to watch my kids.

"I see. So you go with your children everywhere they go to make sure YOU can snatch them away in case the home or place that they happen to be is showing something you don't want them to watch. RIGHT? Give me a break. "

Hopefully you teach them what you consider inappropriate for them to watch and they choose not to watch it when they are old enough to watch it at someone else's house. And if you know they are going to watch smut at a friends house, then you can control that too by not letting them go there.

LOL and don't forget your copy of Lying History and the latest Girls Gone Wild DVD for the ritual!
