Geez, it took me years to work up the nerve to get my ears pierced! I was seven when my mother first asked me if I'd like them done, and I said, "No, are you crazy??" Finally, when I was 13, I let her talk me into it. I don't regret it, but it does suggest to me that in many ways, I've been a conservative since birth! LOL!
