Eighteen young people ages 9 to 15 have been charged with ethnic intimidation in connection with a May 1 attack on a white teenager in Cleveland, part of what the participants called "beat up a white kid day," according to prosecutors.

No, it's a minor incident and ugly. No need to worry about worse things to come.

This is bad business.
"Several of the accused perpetrators were students at the middle school, and received 10-day suspensions following the episode, which occurred after school as the victim walked home with two friends."
They shouldn't be near a school until this is adjudicated.

No, it's a minor incident... Disagree. It's an increasingly common incident. Worse is coming. Just my opinion.

Trouble is, with the media refusing to report incidents like this, it's very hard to tell how common this sort of thing is. William McGowan describes how these stories get spiked in Coloring the News. And I experienced it myself when a gang attacked me with baseball bats and the local papers refused to cover the incident.
