I think it was on Scarborough last evening where I saw a graphic which showed the chemical and biological cache Saddam admitted having in 1998. It was unnerving to see how much of many lethal substanced he had.

The tone of recent allegations against GWB and the Iraqi Regime change has been that the WMD's may not exist.

Since Saddam admitted having them in 1998, the bigger question, if they are not found in Iraq, is "Where are they now?" Such lethal substances just don't dissolve into thin air.

I find it amusing how we rate Saddam's honesty dependent on what we want to accomplish... Re: "Saddam can't be trusted to tell us the truth about the weapons" (circa 2002) vs. "The WMDs must be there because Saddam claimed they were" (circa 5 minutes ago)!

Ding, Ding, Ding. There's my logic alarm going off. It can't be both!

I have a sneaking suspicion that Hussein (why do we refer to him by his first name?), probably worried about an invasion/retribution from Iran (our old enemies, remember?) if he said "Yea, no weapons here!"
