Let's talk about the upside first: The computer-generated Hulk is indeed very realistic and convincing. In fact, all the special effects are good, very subtle and artfully done. There's rarely a time when the computer side of this movie doesn't pay off.

You want action...go see Matrix Reloaded in IMAX. I GUARANTEE you will walk out exhausted, physically exhausted from that cinematic joyride.

Just damn.... My five year old was really looking forward to this movie. He even has a Hulk T-Shirt and the big Hulk Hands. Saw the trailer at the Rugrat movie over the weekend. It doesn't look like it's for children at all.
What braintrust decided to go for dark and gloomy? The children's market would have been a long-term goldmine.

Well, considering SM has grossed nearly $900 million worldwide, I'm pretty sure we can call it a success. And I did see Matrix Reloaded (although not in IMAX)--an absolute, utterly incoherent piece of crap. I was with a group of 6, and no one could tell what happened afterwards. Diff'rent strokes.
