I saw your post just in the nick of time

It is a chance to make a thematic rhyme

What would it be about for goodness sakes

Naturally it must Wednesday's pancakes

 

Sweet and hot and flat and round

The perfect food I now have found

We put the maple syrup on the right

And sometimes we them late at night
