Your choice, violate or not. And without your working computer, how would YOU prove the "government" did it?

I'm not downloading music, but that doesn't mean that my computer is safe from this proposed act of government sanctioned vandalism. I do rip music from purchased CDs to make mixes. If the vandals decide my legal rips are illegal downloads and destroy my computer, there will be hell to pay. I have the technical skill to do the forensic analyis to expose how the computer was damaged. I wouldn't hesitate starting a crusade to crucify the RIAA for any and all damage caused by their vandalism.

BTW, I have a room full of computers with various operating systems. The loss of one of them would only provide the catalyst and evidence to go after the vandals.

You are such a joke with "Law" in your name. You are not about Law, you are about Vigilantism. It does not take a genius to realize that anyone who can hack or virus into someone else's computer can then precipitate the proposed RIAA Vigilante reprisal upon that person's computer, and guess who gets the blame!

Hatch and you both need to be sent back to the hinterlands, the quicker the better.

How do YOU prove that the government shot you dead, if they also shoot all the witnesses?

The government-ordered murders at Waco would have been easier to cover up if they hadn't made the mistake of letting the media put it out live on television. Think about how much more trust our government would have today, if they had just been smart enough to make sure there were no witnesses.

Destroying a computer is only different in degree - our Constitution makes either action illegal.
