I do remember that "Compute" magazine once published the source code for a game that would fry the monitor of a Commodore computer. Unfortunately, they did not publish the warning against running the program until the following month's issue.Thank you, you corrected my hazy memory. The Commodore game could mess up your monitor.
Fortunately, I was a very slow typist back then :o)
