Yup. And, if there was 36 hours between the time of the accident and the time of the arrest, it would give him plenty of time to get rid of the alcohol on his breath (forgive me, bishop, if I am in error here...). If he was under the influence of alcohol, it could help explain why he would leave the scene.
. . .think it a very safe assumption; that alcohol was dulling his reality. . .think it would have better, actually, if he had been 'found' inebriated.
