George Bush is coming to a fundraiser dinner- in NYC on Monday evening, June 23 at the Sheraton Hotel, 52 Street and 7th Avenue.
ANSWER is calling a major anti-war, anti-occupation protest to greet Bush and company starting at 5 p.m. outside the Sheraton Hotel, 52 Street and 7th Avenue, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. We invite every group to endorse, and every activist to not only participate but to also work hard over the next 9 days to spread the word.
Please come to an emergency organizing meeting for the June 23 protest at the ANSWER office on Tuesday, June 17, at 7 p.m. -- room 206, 39 West 14 Street, Manhattan.
It is absolutely critical that we mobilize against this war criminal especially at this time when all of the lies that he told the public to justify the war are coming back to haunt him while resistance to the colonial occupation of Iraq grows daily. This is a precious opportunity to show that the strong anti-war movement is still alive, and the war is not over.
