Yes it did and the character was featured in I believe, three novels, by Stephen Hunter. Great books all, including a few others about BobtheNailer's father, Earl.

That's right! Steven Hunter, and it was a good book! First I'd read that attempted to accurately apply the nomenclature of the shooting world. Good handle, by the way.
