"I think it would be a bad gamble for them to give me money," Tyner said, "but I would like to have it."
Do I hear a bit of Desperation?

I think "desperation" is an understatement...

I find Mitch Tyler more annoying than Ross Perot. He's the little guy that is in the race only for attention and loves to read his name in the newspaper.

Yeah I find it funny that a self proclaimed Mr. Republican has only made campaign contributions to Democrats. He made a number of donations to Democrats including to the Democrat running against Chip Pickering in 1996. Mitch Tyner claims to be a "Republican for the little guy like John McCain." That should tell anyone what his real views are like.

Tyner, who has collected $51,200 in campaign contributions to Barbour's $3.2 million and Musgrove's $4 million, said he would accept contributions from the casinos, despite his opposition to gambling.
Tyner must be reading straight out of the Mississippi Trial Lawyer's Guide to Ethical Conduct, [chapter 6, verse 30]: one's alleged "principles" should always yield to potential personal gain.

good question. I would imagine individual donors, but I don't know whom exactly.
I need to send Haley a check btw...
