Right now it's 2:45 am EST the date is Monday June 16, 2003. Sunday night (6/15/03) has come and gone in Iran. Explain this discrepancy.

No, it's Sunday morning there...
I am hearing of people going to church right now...
They are the ones who plan on carrying crosses.

My mistake...looking at the wrong month on the calendar.
Good luck to the Iranian people!

I believe Iran is 8 hours or so ahead of the east coast. So around 9 am east coast time will be 5PM in Iran.

Iran is only about--what?--9 hours ahead of ET? It's maybe noon there Sunday.

Take PST and add 11-1/2 hours to get Tehran time. (EST+8.5 hours. Elsewhere in the world, figure accordingly.) According to my pocket PC as I post it's Sun. June 15th, 6:26 PM in Tehran. With a couple more hours or so of daylight left.
