From Nazi Abad and Majidie to Shahrak Gharb and Guisha and from Dolat and Shariati to Rey, hundreds of gatherings and thousands and thousands of protesters are showing their rejection of the regime.

At several occasion, brutal plainclothes men were captured by the demonstrators and were attached to trees.

Several patrols and plainclothes men's bikes have been destroyed as were caught filming the demonstrators. the regime's agents were saved from lynchage with the intervention of some of the protesters.

Tear Gas is used in different areas and chase and run is taking place.

The regime has placed its vital buildings, such as Governments and radio and TV under huge surveillance to avoid a popular take over.

The night will be very long.

Why has none of the Cable Channels reported any of this ..

Because it reflects very favorably on the war against Saddam and the the Bush administration. If the Iranians are emboldened and overthrow their tyrants, the Democrats are lost.

I posted this on a different thread, but I'll reprint it here, as it seems relevent.

"The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp, commonly known as the IRGC or Pasdaran, would be the more elite and loyal units of the country. They run the gamit from special operations forces to the Jerusalem brigades that assist Palestinians in blowing themselves up.

Interesting about the IRGC is that they have already informed the theocrats, a few years back, that they weren't going to be helping out in any crushing any more protests or popular demonstrations.

The Basij volunteers, the morality police, if you will, are the ones who are available for the job, as well as many of the foriegn vigilantees that have been lurking around. Neither are particularly well liked, or well armed, for that matter. Should be interesting to see how this plays out."

As I understand it, these foriengers are Arab extremists, Saudis, Palestinians, Lebanese, etc under the direct command of the mullahs. Since the military and the IRGC have taken the 'we defend the borders, not police the country' stand, the players involved on either side are only going to be lightly armed mobs.

Hopefully, with dull rusty nails.

As I understand it, the suppression troops are primarily Arab, not Persian, this will help in the insurrection.

When I read about the protesters "attaching the thugs" to the trees, I immedidately thought of your sign on name for Free Republic.

Sounds like our Iranian friends could have used you to assist in the attachment of the thugs to the trees.

I would pay to go over and drive few well placed nails on their behalf.

"The enemies openly support those adventurers who can become their mercenaries by disturbing people's security," Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told a gathering...

This deserves some clarification.

Americans openly support those adventurers by disturbing your security, Herr Ayatollah.

We support those who will take a boot and 'disturb the security' of your face.

(But you already knew that, didn't you?)

They may do a Mussolini on the mullahs before this is thru.

The 'attached to trees' comment has endless possibilities. ;-)

I'd use a high limb and rope with a noose to attach 'em myself.

Happy Father's Day and Many More! :-)

Thanks for the news, its too bad this is getting no coverage from the news channels,

This really casts GW in a good light. The media don't like that.

The use of ropes with nooses has been on the minds of the Good Iranian People for a long time. Just look at this cartoon from Iran for a little insight to that feeling.

I'm not at all confident that FNC has any reporter on scene in Iran. In addition, they may not have significant access to any organization who does so. If so, that lack of information to report is going to severly limit the amount of time they are able to devote to the story... can't just sit there and say the same thing over and over again... hmm... wait a minute... that's what CNN does...
