STATEMENT BY THE PRESS SECRETARY
RECENT DEMONSTRATIONS IN IRAN
The United States views with great concern the use of violence against Iranian students peacefully expressing their political views. We are alarmed at reports of arrests and provocative actions taken against students by regime forces, and call upon the regime to protect the human rights of the students and to release those who have been arrested.
Iranians, like all people, have a right to determine their own destiny, and the United States supports their aspirations to live in freedom. It is our hope that the voice of the Iranian people and their aspirations for democracy and the rule of law will be heard.

Germany is still reeling with fascismNonsense. Germany's about as far left as a country can get right now without being a communist state.

Not to nitpick, but his name was spelled "Adolf" not "Adolph"

Germany is still reeling with fascism; man, you are blind that to the fact that just because Americans gave their blood to stop oppressive governments ..... that the idea doesn't live on.... in fact, nationalism is alive and well, here in America stomping our individual dignity. Perhaps next time we should build camps and exterminate them all so we won't have to deal with anything later?
Seriously, people still sport Confederate flags, and they got whipped 150 years ago. Does that mean that the Union lost the war?
And it is obvious, you buy the government stomping our dignity here in America.
I don't just buy it, I'm wearing the boots. I'm up late every night planning on how to subvert the Constitution. Between gun grabs, I plant WMD evidence, and pull maintenance on my black helicopter.

Bush isn't personally responsible for finding anybody on your time table. All we can do is put the assets in place and ahve them wait for the intelligence to pop.

Oh yes, and we let Hirohito continue to be Emperor of Japan. So Japan also won even after being nuked.
To: Alas Babylon!
Ah, but they didn't win, because we FOUND Hirohito. Apparently, the trick isn't whether or not our enemy is defeated (ie Hitler, Hirohito, Saddam, Usama, or even WMD) but whether or not they are found.
We defeated Iraq, but we didn't find WMD or Saddam, so we lose.
Al Qaida is shattered, and is stuck limping from cave to cave, but we haven't found UBL, so we lose.
Nazi Germany was smashed, but we never got Hitler, so Nazism lives on. Please deposit another 25 cents.

Theres a good book coming out called "All the Shah's Men:An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror"
Here's the link to the first chapter. This is a must read for those unfamiliar with the roots of modern day Iran.

So if GWBush isn't responsible, who is?
What kind of government do we run here in America begging for taxpayer dollars to pay for wars around the world when in fact, the government doesn't even protect our national borders. The jerks are off in meetings drinking coffee and eating donuts while our nation is infiltrated with terrorists. And you substantiate terrorism, don't you? You like those silly 10 Billion dollar color codes that Tom Ridge created ... doing nothing, don't you?

So if GWBush isn't responsible, who is? I'm going to guess that no one is responsible for finding anybody on your time table. As far as I can do Bush and the intelligence community are doing all they can do to find Osama and Saddam.

I'd like like to see a tougher stance on illegal immigration. But people will always be able to cross the border illegaly. They got through the Berlin Wall, didn't they? That's why it's important to cut off the funding and support terrorists receive from overseas.

And all you do is nothing about the world around you. Do you think I am the complaint department? Instead, do something about your beliefs; ensure your beliefs are substantiated; tell everyone about your beliefs.

With the U.S. Army all over Iraq, I suspect a Tiananmen Square solution is not in the cards for the mullahs.

"BIG_DEAL .... GWBush has not caught Saddam nor has he caught OBL. You chant GWBush as though he is a GOD! Yet, he hasn't delivered."
Roosevelt and Churchill failed, also, since they didn't capture Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo, by your criteria.
Funny, but their failure to reach your standards didn't affect the outcome of the war, did it?
Bush has delivered military victory. And he will be the FIRST to pass the credit to the military and civilians that did the job.
Are you taking a position that those forces have failed to deliver?
To: truth_seeker
The struggles that you are talking about are government negotiations between Churchill and Hitler; while simultaneously denying a responsible discourse. Hitler literally begged Churchill to set up Madacasgar as a method to support those of the Jewish faith.
Churchill ignored Hitler's perspective.
