Sporadic clashes are rocking again and for the 5th consecutive night the center, north and south of Iranian capital as an increasing number of residents are rushing to protest again. The most violent clashes are taking place in the Fatemi, Amir Abad and Shariati area.

Tear gas, clubs and chains are again used against the demonstrators shouting slogans against the regime and its leaders.

Earlier clashes happened in the Nazi Abad district but more unrest is expected later. traffic jams are starting to form again making slow the security forces move.

This bravery is taking place despite the bloody repression of yesterday night which have lead to several deaths and injuries.

The Ashoora and Sarallah brigades are involved in the chase and hunts beside the regular forces and plainclothes men

I'm praying really hard for these people freedom. God bless them, it looks like they are really serious this time. I just wish that more and more people would find the courage to go out there with them. The more who show up, the safer they all will be.

The worldwide leftist movement will really go ballistic if the mullah's are ousted and replaced by a pro-American government.

Also, imagine the pressure this will put on the Saudi's...they will either have to smash the Wahhabist element or completely turn over the reigns of power to them.

Iranian nationalism will overcome the dead hand of
khomeini. Rafsanjani, khameni, and the rest of the
council of guardian and their rabid supporters
will be pictured in newsweek and time with their
toes turned out. What goes around, comes around.

Just goes to show what a quagmire we stepped into with Afghanistan and Iraq, the Iranians see all the hardships and still want freedom. The left has to be crapping their drawers... :-)

This is far and away the biggest thing happening in the world right now. A non-terrorist Iran would turn the whole region around. Sure hope the CIA is on the ground helping these people.

I think it's too late for the Mullahs to clamp down on this, it is only going to make the Persians more angry and determined.
