You're going way off on a limb here. I am not a bigot; I am disucssing it because you are equating theoretical bigotry with pedophilia. I am saying that people who are prejudiced in their minds - or even in their speech - are NOTHING compared to pedophiles, especially as mentioned in the article that started this thread. Plus I don't consider bigotry if it is a mental attitude a huge evil. I personally don't expect everyone to love me, I don't get offended if people don't like my looks or my religion. In that sense, bigotry is stupid.

But if by bigotry you mean people who consider homosexual behavior unhealthy and unnatural, this isn't bigotry. it is using common sense.

Let me take a shot at this: While I admit to only skimming through this thread, perhaps it's because you have used the word in an erroneous context somewhere in a post....?? I'll further go out on a limb and state (hopefully appropo) that saying sodomy is a sin (or perverted or deviant or just plain disgusting) is not bigotry.

Well here's your problem. Bigotry is not evil. If fact God commands us to hate evil (such as homosexual behavior or murder or child molesting). If God commands us to be bigots on some issues then how can bigotry be evil?

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean they are evil bigots. Especially when they are right.
