"If you showed some interest in the truth I'd be more inclined to ping you."

It's fine if you don't ping me. I get pinged anyway, usually.

"Unfortunately you continue to ignore the truths put forth on this forum."

No, I ignore the herd of propaganda links that you put forth. Big difference.

"From everything I've studied on this issue, there is no such thing as a homosexual, just homosexual behavior, so engaging in homosexual behavior is a choice."

Of course engaging in any behavior is a choice. It's the attraction you have no control over.

"Nobody said it was easy to leave the homosexual lifestyle, but it's possible as thousands have demonstrated."

How many go BACK to the homosexual lifestyle? Thousands might have stopped acting on their impulses (probably most of them only temporarily), or perhaps were straight to begin with.... but this doesn't prove that you can ever stop being a homosexual.

Of course, even if I could leave it I wouldn't. But that's another issue entirely.

Calling something propaganda doesn't make it propaganda. If you have rebuttals to anything I've posted then post it.

Of course engaging in any behavior is a choice. It's the attraction you have no control over.

Many men have attractions to women other than their wife but they don't act on it. As I previously said, everyone struggles with something, it's acting on that struggle that, regarding homosexuality, many have stopped doing. To repeat:

From everything I've studied on this issue, there is no such thing as a homosexual, just homosexual behavior, so engaging in homosexual behavior is a choice.

Thousands of married and unmarried men don't act on their impulses of attraction to women they're not married to. That doesn't prove they don't struggle with their attraction.

Of course, even if I could leave it I wouldn't. But that's another issue entirely.

Honestly, I'm sorry to hear that. Please reconsider that if you could leave the homosexual lifestyle, you would.

Kleptomaniacs can overcome their disease, compulsive overeaters can overcome their disease, victims of violence can overcome their mental injuries. Any mental illness or trauma (such as Same-sex Attraction Disorder) can be overcome. Even some diseases that (unlike SAD) have a proven genetic component like alcoholism can be overcome.

We control our feelings. They don't control us. (except of course in the case of the "it's OK to be gay" crowd, who've given up control of themselves)
