[history]
The silence up at the state capital over the arrest on rape charges of Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver's chief counsel is troubling, though predictable.
J. Michael Boxley, arguably Silver's most powerful staffer, is charged with raping a 22-year-old Assembly aide Tuesday morning after he agreed to drive her home from a night out in Albany bars.

Not even the alleged victim's boss, Rochester Assemblywoman Susan John, (obviously) a loyal Silver Democrat, had anything to say. She simply ran away from The Post's (reporter) Fredric U. Dicker - who yesterday had to contend with a ring of beefy guards hurriedly dispatched by Silver to "protect" his colleague. Ir's only about sex. Let's all move on.

Sheldon Silver is insensitive to rape victims pain. And he's being given a pass by the feminazis. How interesting.

They're right. The silence is deafening. Susan John is a BIG LIBERAL around here. She was arrested for drunken driving. She made an admission of guilt publicly and that was the end of it.
Whomever this 22 year old woman is, she is likely under a lot of "shut up or else" pressure to be silent. I'm betting she went silently to the police through someone else she knew, for protection more than anything.
They DID have sex according to Boxley but added that it was consentual. Well, he wasn't dating her and he has lots of playmates according to one article, so why did he have sex with her to start with??
There was an article about Boxley as a Dem rep, meeting with a group advocating the setting aside of the Rockefeller drug laws. I wish I knew more about that and what Boxley advocated.
This MAY turn out to be a very dirty story. A second timer, A BIG MAN with lots of connections and Dem protection.

We suspect that Albany County District Attorney Paul Clyne will be something of a nightmare for Boxley - and maybe for Speaker Silver, too. Dont bet on it. Secular Pagan Democrats such as these usually stck together. They have no moral compass and can easily dismiss rape with the Hillary statement: This was a sin of weakness.

Interesting story. It appears that Bill Clinton Deamoncrats strike again, why does this surprise anybody, the silence of the Republicans is not surprising either. No doubt they have their skeletons in the closet. We all knew that sex crimes in the political arena were going to get worse after Slick Willy got away with it, and no doubt this will not be the last incident of such a despicable sin. The real crime lays at the feet of the poor slobs who elect this kind of scum into office, it lays at the feet of the political opponent of this scum for not making an issue of it, it lays at the feet of the news media for not doing their job in bring it before the people, it lays at the feet of the NOW hypocrites who turn a deaf ear to the cries of abused women when it is not politically correct, it lies at the feet of the Church for not being the moral voice of a sin sick nation, and it lies at the feet of a complacent nation who just doesnt care....thats about all of us. No one is willing to stand up and deal with any sexual misconduct of any kind anymore; homos run rampant, perverts are everywhere, internet porn is big business, prostitution is a misdemeanor and sometimes a viable profession, divorce and infidelity is as common as a cold...so is this really a surprise? Do we really want to stop all this? Until the answer is yes, all we will do is shake our heads, write our opinions on web sites, and continue in our own sins. Get on your knees and see me in the morning.

Supposedly, there's a in-place sexual crimes "committee."
And the rape victim worked for a Dem woman legislator who's probably a raving femiNazi. Shows the hypocrisy -- the femiNazi pol would rather suckup to Silver and get a few favors than assist a rape victim.

That's the sad reality. If its a liberal politician, a woman will find the women's groups AND the law are NOT on her side. Just ask Paula Jones.

Unfortunate? Yeah, sure, only b/c Silver's part in the coverup has been put on public display.

You have it right. Susan John has been silenced. No statement was not a good play because it says she is protecting someone AND IT'S PROBABLY NOT HER 22 year OLD AIDE.

Assemblywoman Susan John, chairwoman of the Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Committee and sponsor of the state's zero-tolerance DWI law, agreed in 1997 to participate in a first-time offenders program after her drunken driving arrest.

Boxley's hold on Silver? Creepo Boxley must know where the bodies are buried. It stands to reason a corrupt individual like Silver who would coverup a serious crime like rape has plenty of other things to hide. Unfortunately, these scoundrels are adept at hiding their transgressions.
