Oh... but one question:

How do one come across as a NORMAL citizen?

True, what is normal????

But remember when you asked (possibly rhetorically) how do we win more people to our side?

My answer was, by seeming ruled by intelligence and logic, not emotions and irrational thought ;o)

Your emotional and persumptious outburst, my FRiend, is exactly WHY we come across as childish and illogical.

You ASS/U/ME that I have NOT been out there....that would be an inaccurate persumption. ;o)

Becareful that you do not further devide the inner workings of the conservatives. Emotional outbursts against our own are NOT productive.

But here is a hint, Nobody but you cares.

Ahhh, not true....there are MANY who care...I'm just one who won't go away or be silent either.....The mainstream population cares and is VERY turned off by BOTH SIDE's radical extremes.

The Message is to Hitlary. We won't go away, we won't be silent.

I thought the message was to the general population??? I thought we were trying to expose Hitlary for what she really is???? My bad....so all you care about is if SHE gets the message??? The rest of the undecided voting citizens that might see the way the media portrays this, be damned???? Sounds counter-productive to me....Hitlary KNOWS what/who she is....it's the rest of the world I want to expose her to, so therefore, I protest with the rest of the world as my audiance and not some lying loathsome radical left wing commie live in a fantasy world power hungry money grabbing calling her a snake or witch would be too good for her "senator". See my point????

Who are you trying to get your message to??? The voters or "Senator Hitlary"???

And if you would have read further posts, I clarified myself to say that I'm not picking on your for doing so...but if you know the "boot licking Press" will always put you in the worst possible light, why give them further fuel for the fire???? That makes about as much sense as a teenager who says "I'm already in trouble for being out late after my curfew, let me stay out a few hours longer" or the argument of "Everyone hates us anyhow, let's REALLY make them hate us". *shrugs*

The message you are sending with your costumes is hysterical, the irony is, the only peole that find the humor and wit in it are not the people you want to discover the truth.

It's nothing more than grand-standing for your own "peers". If that's all you want to accomplish by it, go right ahead. I don't think less of you for doing it, I was meerly trying to point out how it is protrayed in the media and to the "non political" people you are trying to win to our side.

It's no wonder well over half the society doesn't vote....when you have to pick between two apparent radical extremes, it's not a pleasant choice(not how I view all of us, yes, I include myself, it's how the media protrays us..if you'd read my further posts you'd see that I am more than willing to dress up if I thought it'd get the message across to the people I'm trying to reach)

Deal with it.

HMMM...I do....I think it's amusing you all put on those costumes...but, again, see above, I think the point and the messages are missed on anyone but fellow FReepers. Your sharp words are wasted on me, my FRiend, I do accept why you do it. I'm just trying to illustrate how the rest of the world views it. I thought this was a "war" to win more people to OUR side, not to alienate more people from our side???

Did I ask that? Well then that's good; it's a very good question.

My answer was, by seeming to be ruled by intelligence and logic, not emotions and irrational thought ;o)

Hmmm.... I tend to think that in many ways, especially about enonomic issues, we conservatives need to take our logical arguments and tweak it to become more emotionally effective. The best emotions are the rational ones, afterall. ;-) The two were meant to go together, wouldn't you agree, thoughts and feelings?

Thursday, June 12, 2003 The Times' Designated Man in the Street

When the New York Times needs to find a man in the street to interview they never have to look very far - they have one on tap suitable for every occasion.

Thanks to a sharp-eyed Ann Coulter, one Greg Packer has been outed as the media's designated man in the street - a role Mr. Packer has played more than 100 times, Coulter discovered.

His latest assignment for the Times was to be the average man in the street in line waiting to buy Mrs. Clinton's newest work of fiction....

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

And, we need a large turn out!!!!!

Yeah we do!

Perhaps someone with far greater song writing ability than me could work up a song parody we could sing for the beast. I'm thinkin' something along the lines of the CW classic ...

da dump da da dump
da dump da da dump
rewriting history.
Ghost Writers Do or Die

or something like that

Hey thanks for letting me know!
I'm a big, big GB Packer fan.
I wonder what his middle name is... B-something.

true, there are such things as "rational" emotions ;o)

The mind should be guided by both logic & emotion in even doses...lest we get out of balance.

I have a good book for you, unspun...I think you'd LOVE it...it's one of my favorites....."The Phantom Tollbooth"...GREAT play on words in that book.

Talks about the return of "Rhyme & Reason". ;O)

For the record, I vote for "silly costumes at FReeps" - having seen the power of HUMOR to both cut through the media bias, and fire up the troops on OUR side...

Summer's here and the time is right for freeping in the streets!

Former First Lady, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton ('Rat-NY) will be touring the country this summer promoting her memoirs, Living History.

FReepers from coast to coast will have the opportunity to exercise their First Amendment rights to peaceably assemble and freep her like a rented mule...

CLICK HERE for the rest of that thread
I personally **LOVE** the idea of FReepers - all across the USA - dressing up as "GHOST writers" to greet the junior Senator from New York - at EVERY book-signing, in EVERY city, all across the US - to stress the message that Hillary did NOT write this book of lies all by herself...
Perhaps she had help from the GHOSTS of:
- Baghdad Bob, or
- Jayson Blair, or
- Joe Isuzu, or
- YOUR idea here.

What say YOU?

Is this a GOOD IDEA, or???

Hmmmm, kind of a "silly school mascot" type idea???? Inspire "pep"....cheerleaders!

That's all fine and dandy....but remember how we taunted and tortured other schools about their mascot choices ;o)

But, the more I think about my Pooh Bear costume...it might be the perfect costume on so many levels....representing "fantasy/fiction" (where Hitlary's book belongs) and a "big POOH" (which everything she writes is a big pile of!)...of course, the twisted & intelligent line of thinking on that one would DEFINITELY be lost on the majority of the uneducated left. ;o)

Maybe....

You know...the more I think about it, the more I smell a "challenge" in the are....

The DC FReeper Chapter keeps talking about how they lead the way.....Perhaps we show them how things are done RIGHT in Chicago...land of the voting dead.

Whatcha think??? Think we can out do them??????
