Did I ask that? Well then that's good; it's a very good question.

My answer was, by seeming to be ruled by intelligence and logic, not emotions and irrational thought ;o)

Hmmm.... I tend to think that in many ways, especially about enonomic issues, we conservatives need to take our logical arguments and tweak it to become more emotionally effective. The best emotions are the rational ones, afterall. ;-) The two were meant to go together, wouldn't you agree, thoughts and feelings?

true, there are such things as "rational" emotions ;o)

The mind should be guided by both logic & emotion in even doses...lest we get out of balance.

I have a good book for you, unspun...I think you'd LOVE it...it's one of my favorites....."The Phantom Tollbooth"...GREAT play on words in that book.

Talks about the return of "Rhyme & Reason". ;O)
