LOL @ "journalistic work to reference" - what kind of fishwrap do you read that reports on the laughtracks of late night shows?

By your own admission, it would be quite a damaging allegation that Letterman inserted laughter digitally -- it would, in your words, 'expose him as a fraud.' In recent years, even NBA teams were criticized for blasting canned crowd noise in sports arenas during televised games. If someone credible actually came forward and said that what your friends suspect -- not "know" -- about canned Letterman laughter was true, that would be a scandal. A scandal that would hit the pages of Daily Variety, Entertainment Weekly, TV Guide, The Hollywood Reporter, Broadcasting and Cable, Zap2it.com, and Drudge Report.

Go crawl back under the rock you came from. Letterman's an unfunny, second-rate comedian and he understandably draws morons like yourself; it's like flies on sh*t.

Good lord, man, you sure have worked yourself into a lather about a guy you've never met and only effects your life if you let him.

Get over yourself! Have another shot of your namesake, pass out on the floor, come to, mop up your puke, and take a nap. Maybe you'll feel better, but I doubt it.

I watched this and she said "Ya Know" and lied and her over bite was bucked teeth looking and she was so fake. There was no boos from the audience, and Dave surely plugged her book and was nice to her.

It musta been a LOUD laugh applause track as of course there wre no boos or hisse heard. She was disgusting, bugging her eyes out with her over bite. She said NO to running in 04 clearly but changed the subject when Dave asked her about 08. The frst 2 minutes of the interview was a commericial campaign for the DNC and how they are for the middle class and they care blah blah blah.

All pre-taped shows are edited complete with laugh tracks and boos erased. Nowadays they leave in cuss words cause it is cool and fashionable but other than that all guests get the same laugh track.

You have made some comments that have you looking like a troll cause no one could be this combatitive while seemingly ignorant unless they were from DU or the DNC.

I swore before I left for work earlier before I replied to you, you got real nasty, don't have time to try to see where I read this. Sorry if I snapped unwarranted. All shows that are not LIVE edit and use laugh tracks, I don't think I would go as far then, as singling out Letterman as a fraud, as it is show BIZness is all.
