"Trevor Goddard was his name."Not Mick Brumby? That's too bad, though I'm sure Harm's not crying. I noticed Trevor was doing some mop commercial lately.

He had a great acting voice and powerful presents (presence? hmmmmm) on stage. Acting abilities? I never noticed it. One of the worst I've ever seen in Tom Cruise. Same character every time he acts.
today's (aledged) actors can't hold a candle to his generation.

I loved him in To Kill A Mockingbird. A great speaking voice.

That's the difference between a "performer" CRUISE and an actor (Pacino, Billy Bob Thornton...etc.)

One of the guys from JAG committed suicide. Trevor Goddard was his name.Where did you hear that? is there a link? I couldn't stand him on Jag. But I hate to see such waste of life. God forgive him.
He isn't on the Dead Peoples Server

Very sad. I LOVED Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch, but could never stand his raving leftist politics.......
In spite of his wacky politics, Peck at least seemed to be one of the few grown-ups left in Hollywierd. May he rest in peace.

This is me and my singing partner back in 1962 with Gregory Peck. We were performing for a dinner for the American Cancer Society. Funny thing was, Peck chain smoked all through the event. LOL! Very nice gentleman. Such a loss.
I'm the blonde on the right.

I must note that although most of us here disagree with Peck's leftist politics, there aren't any Freepers celebrating his death.
What a contrast to the DU Purple Koolaid crowd who literally keep champagne chilled and ready for gloating and toasting on the day Ronald Reagan dies. (Not making this up--the author of "The New Thought Police" personally attested to her gay/FemiNazi friends doing this)

Brinkley, now Peck. They come in threes - who's next? :-( A newsman, an actor.....I'd say the next one will be either a sports star or a politician.

Actually 4. One of the guys from JAG committed suicide. Trevor Goddard was his name. Not famous enough. Neither was Don Regan except to FReepers and the Beltway crowd. Perhaps we'll see another in the next few days.

Moby Dick was a unique movie, shot in both color and black and white. The final film was produced by running both into the master copy, which gave the film its bleak washed out color. Peck made the film, by the way.
I've often thought of Melville's classic as the first real American novel.

Another great movie, "Behold a Pale Horse" set during the spanish civil war.....

WooWoo, Eggsackly--you were a cutie pie!!!
Did you almost pass out from his handsome-ness? LOL!
In 1971 I got to meet Charlton Heston in person and I thought I was going to literally hyperventilate and pass out. He was unbelievably handsome, charismatic, hunky beyond belief--LOL, I'm having a flashback again!!!
