Me too...I watch it every time it is rerun, it is one of my favorite moviesI watch it every time it's on as well. Am disappointed cause it always ends the same way. Just once I'd like to see old Boo just kick the %$#S out of Scout and Atticus.

Great actor.
Story is that he got the MacArthur role because of The Omen. MacArthur producers wanted a more bankable actor when his name was mentioned. He was seen as a has-been. Omen was supposed to be a minor horror flick, but when it exploded, his box office appeal led the MacArthur folks to hire him.
Saw him shopping for Christmas trees a couple years ago. Perfectly nice. Had a cane with him but seemed to use it more as a walking stick, because he coule move around.

I didn't know that he borked Bork! What a disappointment to find this out now.The commercial was paid for by Norman Lear's People for the American Way, which should have been called People for the UnAmerican Way.

For four decades Peck continued to turn in finely crafted performances, working with the best directors in Hollywood ... Of the movies listed I didn't see "The Man in the Grey Flannel Suit" ... didn't Gregory Peck star in that as well?

The best movie he ever did. I was awesome and powerful!!
To: Frank_Discussion
I know this is an inappropriate comment at this time, but I always felt that Gregory Peck was an overestimated actor. In other words, he just wasn't a good actor. His range, as they say, was a to b.

Great actor, but liberal S.O.B. in real life. R.I.P., nonetheless, Mr. Peck.

That would be IT was awesome and powerful.

His politics don't interest me. He was an actor's actor and a charitable human being. He will be missed.

IMHO, his most significant "contribution" was to help defeat a splendid Supreme Court nominee by spreading false accusations about him.
