Protesters who say Kathleen Kennedy Townsend is a poor role model for Catholic women because of her pro-choice views are planning a rally today outside graduation ceremonies at an all-girls Catholic school in Bethesda where the former lieutenant governor is scheduled to speak.

Townsend, the failed Democratic candidate for governor last year, attended the Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart until her sophomore year, and with her background in public service and education seemed a perfect choice to address the 83 graduates, said school spokeswoman Helen Drury Macsherry.

If so, why have we Catholics allowed since 1973, more than 40 million such children in the United States to be horribly murdered without even anesthesia, by chemical poisoning, by saline burning, and by surgical dismemberment, right up to the time of birth? That's the problem, most catholics do just that. It seems every time I open my diocesan newspaper there is an article about equal rights, stewardship of the environment, a grammar school celebrating earth day or a rain forest (jungle) exhibit, a fair wage article, etc. Very few articles about abortion or the repudiation of Catholic politicians voting for abortion.

Kathleen Kennedy Townsend wants it both ways. The Catholic Church allowed her to do it. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend joined up with "Operation Respect" founded by Peter Yarrow of Peter , Paul and Mary fame. Peter Yarrow was found guilty of having sex with an underage female and sentenced to jail. He is a pervert. President Jimmy Carter forgave him and let him out. Now Peter Yarrow heads up a kids organization called "Operation Respect" and Katheleen Kennedy Townsend works there? Hello! YooHoo, anyone home? This is sick.
