Thanks for setting the scene. You did great work setting up this freep.

I got there late, but still had time for fun before the storm clouds rolled in.

For my part, I tried to talk to the crowd across the street, explaining what it is about Hillary Clinton we don't like. I didn't have time to get through it all, but they sure weren't happy to be reminded of her eight years as co-President.

Mrs. Clinton was personally signing the books again tonight. It's good to see her working for once.

Maybe we should send her some Ben Gay or something for tomorrow's booksigning at Trover's :-)

Find a book regarding Vince's death and ask her to sign it. THAT will be worth some money, someday.

I guess I didn't pick up on the fact that this all took place this evening - OK, it's after midnight so I should say the evening of June 11th? That was some thunderstorm, wasn't it?

We did the usual routine that we've been doing all spring - I am usually the first to hear the thunder rolling down the Blue Ridge, even before the dog! Then the dog comes into my room and tries to hide from the thunder - brave dog! I start yelling to the rest of the household "turn off your computers, turn off your computers!"

This evening we had the computers turned off for a very long time.

Amazing to think of Hillary herself signing books at the very Walmart where I buy my pantyhose and hair dye.

The nearest similar event I can think of was when Patricia Cornwell did a book signing at the Fair Oaks Costco. I saw her as she was leaving, and said to myself "hey, that's Patricia Cornwell!" She's quite tiny, and gave me the eye as she passed me by.

My family and friends back home think it must be very glamorous living in the DC metro region but if book signings by Patricia Cornwall and Hillary Clinton are my only brushes with fame I'd say no. Well, Ollie North is more like what I think of as famous but he IS local, sorta (Shenandoah), not like Patricia Cornwell (Richmond) and Hillary Clinton (DC). I was very thrilled to meet Ollie in person and have him sign a book for me.

Don't tell me that they are not monitoring these threads. Your origional post about them being on an inserted sheet has been monitored and she actually has to work and sign the books.

Kristinn, I honestly believe that your post changed thair minds. She has to work.

Ain't gonna do any good. The book will be on the discount list faster than you can say Vince Foster.

Great job guys as usual. Just a thought: perhaps someone should be taking good pictures of the people in line. It's quite possible that they are using the same people to go to every book signing.

Are you mean ol' FReepers gonna do that one too? Poor Hillary (not). She probably has nightmares about FReepers chasing her and not being able to find an SS agent to beat them off or a driver to run them over.
