What a great topic! I have done a few watercolors of some lighthouses in Maine. I've given them all away to friends and family. Maybe one of these days I'll do one for my own house.

Dansy, what a cute hostess graphic, and I see that T Man has already noted my absence and pointed out that new fella, BillY, in my place. LOL!
I think that we must go on a 'Lighthouse Vacation' now. Have always thought I would love to visit one; now I know I would. You did a beautiful job of presenting these wonderful landmarks; your backgrounds and Welcome graphic are so pretty, and love the personal touch you gave it with your own experiences in visitng them!

G'Morning, dansy!
I am enjoying your post today on lighthouses as well as all the pictures being posted. There is something romantic about them, isn't there?
JK and I saw this pretty lighthouse during our ferry tour of Sydney Harbor last week. He took several photographs of it, but I haven't seen them yet, so I am posting this one that I found on google. I had no idea what the name of it was, but did a search for Sydney Harbor lighthouses and recognized it when I found it.......Hornby Lighthouse, New South Wales.
Good morning, sistahs and friends....wishing you and all of our Finest visitors a good day.
(Gail, sorry to hear about your fall. You take care now.)
